4th Annual Oakville Environmental Day

July 7, 2012 11:30 am - 2 pm

Oakville is our home so let’s take care of it was the message of the day at the 4th Annual Environmental Awareness Day held on July 7, 2012 at Tim Horton’s, 111 Cross Avenue (Trafalgar Village).

We joined forces with our community partners, Tim Hortons (111 Cross Avenue), Kerr Village BIA, M&M Meat Shops (2525 Prince Michael Drive), Fortinos (Oakville), Shred-It International and Home Depot, to host our Annual Environmental Awareness Day. Local vendors exhibited their environmentally-friendly products and services. In addition, children's activities, a community clean up and BBQ rounded out the day. All proceeds from the event’s raffle were donated to  Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton.
Volunteers cleaned up the area around the Tim Hortons at 111 Cross Avenue.
