Each team is asked to raise a minimum of $500.  This can be done by having each member raise a minimum of $100 or have one or two members be responsible for raising the whole amount.  Another way of raising the entry pledge of $500 is to have a company sponsor your team.  We have many great incentive prizes for pledges collected.  So remember…the more pledges collected the better the incentives.

However, when qualifying for pledge incentives please note they are based on funds raised by individual bowlers not teams.

Online Pledging

Online Pledging provides our bowlers with added flexibility and convenience by offering easy, secure, fast, and convenient donation options.  Traditional person to person fundraising can be challenging due to time contraints and geographical barriers.  Those making an on-line donation will benefit from the added value of receiving their tax receipt immediately via email and have agency information at their finger-tips.

Team Captains and Bowlers create an account through the Bowl For Kids Sake logo on Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton website at Bowl for Kids Sake  site.  Following the step-by-step directions, they launch their personal account and using the email function send secure messages to friends, family and associates requesting pledges.  All personal information remains completely confidential and participants can rest at ease that names and addressees will not be solicited by the agency.
