Couples and Kids is a fantastic program where a couple can volunteer together.
A child between the ages of 6 and 14 is matched with a couple who is at least 20 years of age and has been together for at least one year.
This program provides flexibility so that if one member of the couple is unavailable, the other member can still spend time with the child.
What makes this program special is that it exposes children to respectful relationships. There are several children in our program who could benefit from experiencing positive and respectful family relationships.
Application Process consists of:
- Complete Application form - Click here for the Application Form
- Provide 4 references each
- Provide 1 medical reference each
- Obtain Police check for both applicants & those in your home over 18 years old
- An interview with each partner separately will be conducted by a trained Case Manager
- A home visit interview will be conducted by a trained Case Manager
- Child Safety training will be provided by trained Case Manager
